I like this story.  Two young parents are celebrating--in a big way--the first birthday of their son.  They e-mailed the premiers of all ten Canadian provinces and the Prime Minister of Canada asking for congratulatory messages for their son and actually recieved two, from the premiers of British Colombia and Prince Edward Island.  Absolutely marvellous.  Young Daniel is a very lucky little boy to have such loving parents.  This piece is written by Jason, his Dad.  Kudos.

My last post was about the problems our Earth has, most of which is our own doing.  In fairness, I should point out that it's still a beautiful blue ball and it's our beautiful blue ball--the only one that we live on.  Let's do our best to look after it!

Once in a while someone has a world-class idea and has the technology, the skill and the artistry to carry it off.  This is an example of that.  It is quite remarkable.  It at once beautifies ugly grey buildings, turning them into living green masterpieces.  There's another benefit too; all this plant-life creates much needed oxygen for people in the cities to breathe.

I read this in my e-mail and thought that it was really worth sharing.  This is what my Christian faith is all about.  And I thought how much better our lives would be if we actually tried to look out for one another, as described in these lessons.
